I am an independent designer who is available for contract, freelance or project-based employment. I have a fully equipped Mac-based home office, but I'm also able to work onsite within the GTA.
My design touch points include corporate collateral, brand development, advertising and web design. I have worked on projects of varying sizes for companies big and small, both as an independent and as part of a larger team of professionals. Clients seek me out for my creative contributions and my technical abilities.
For me, learning is a way of life and inspiration can be found just about anywhere. I have earned a 3-year diploma in Graphic Design & Advertising from Conestoga College, and a 1-year postgraduate certificate in Web Design from Sheridan College (Honours).
But I've also taken courses in conversational Spanish, glass blowing and creative writing — just because. Golf, volleyball and soccer have kept me up and running; and I've participated in meet-up groups for WordPress, JQuery and traditional pencil sketching to broaden my skills and meet new people. I travel to faraway places, I scream down snowy mountains on skis, I try to live healthy and eco-smart.
Life is not played on the sidelines, nor is it found on the pages of someone else's journal. Life is in the experiences you have when you fully participate in the world around you.
